As per the topic, is Blogflux going for the better or worst?
The Blogflux I used to know, was pretty tight on their requirements whether a site is considered a blog. Especially so, when so much effort is being placed on reviewing sites before they are allowed to be listed in the directory.
But now, I merely got done with 3 pages of the directory based on the tag "business", more than half of the sites listed are simply - as good as spam. We see loan sites or some other websites which are not even blogs to begin with. My definition of blog to say the least, is not just the use of a blogging software. Who doesn't know Wordpress can be nicely designed into a corporate site too? Does that means its a blog just because it's running on a blog platform?
Actually I have been clicking on "Report Site"... to the point I realized there are tooooooo many such sites to report, I gave up. Of course, it does bring a big question to mind how did these sites get approved and end up in the directory in the first place?
I have nothing against making money online, even though personally I don't place alot of emphasis on that. But is Blogflux still a blog aggregator or merely a collection of websites?

Endoh
All blogs are still and have always been manually approved. There are different approvers and some people have different interpretations on what should be improved and declined.
That being said. A solution is being released within the next month that I believe should get rid of 90% of spam blogs.
What else can we do?
